Following this, she worked in Los Angeles for Gabbay Architects in Beverly Hills. In 2010 Sarah Jane moved to Geneva, Switzerland and worked at Andres Ojeda Architects where she collaborated on several residential projects, following them from the first stages of development through construction, working both in English and in French.

In 2013 Sarah Jane moved to London where she obtained her BSci(Hons) in Architecture from the RIBA and ARB accredited University of East London. There, her studio focused on wood construction and gridshell structures for which she won the Noel Hill Travel Award given by the AIA UK for Excellence in Design by a Student, 2014.

Following this degree, Sarah Jane returned to Switzerland and received her MArch in the Jointmaster of Architecture program at the Berner Fachhochschule (Bern University of Applied Sciences) with studios covering highrises, re-use and dense housing. Her thesis project was an urban redevelopment proposal called The Intersticial City which looked at stitching together urban fabric through incorporating unused space left by infrastructure and working within the parameters set by the river’s different flood levels.

Sarah Jane moved to Boston following the successful completion of her MArch degree.
